🔎 How to Discover Shortcuts

You don't need to memorize everything at once. FlowBeam has several built-in ways to help you discover shortcuts as you go:

❓ Press ? on the Planner or Calendar🔍 Press ⌘K to search commands⌨️ Keyboard hints in footer bars📖 This guide (bookmark it!)
🎓

Start small: Pick 2–3 shortcuts that would save you the most time (we recommend +K for the Command Palette, G P for the Planner, and ++K for Quick Capture). Use them for a few days until they become muscle memory, then add more.

🛡️ Browser-Reserved Shortcuts

FlowBeam intentionally avoids overriding shortcuts that browsers and operating systems own (Print, New Tab, Reload, Find, etc.). One minor caveat:

🦊

Firefox only: ++K (Quick Capture) also opens Firefox's Web Console when its developer tools are enabled. Chrome and Safari leave this chord free, and most users never notice. If you live in Firefox DevTools, use the floating Quick Capture button instead.
